At a young age I never really thought I was different. I just figured everyone experienced the things that I did on a day to day basis. I thought those bright lights around everyone “auras” were what everyone saw. Being a young age when I would draw pictures I would always shade a yellow light around the person or object. When a teacher asked why I always included a shadow around everything I remember telling her because everything has a light around them. My mother who suspected I was psychic helped encourage and develop my skills to what they are today. She knew that what I was seeing was auras and bought me books on those subjectsto help me. We would also play what we called the color game. She would think of a color and try to send it to me through her mind and I would always know the correct color. The “Knowing Gift” was just as normal to me as anything else and it became apart of me and my everyday life. As I grew into my teens things became a little more challenging. I was not always in psychic mode but when I was and didn’t realize it my friends started getting nervous that I knew things and talked about things they have nevermentioned. I knew about family problems, what they were feeling and even dreams they had the night before. Sometimes deceased family members would pop up in my mind and send there love and messages. When the word of mouth started happening I then found myself by myself and hard to keep friends because they knew I was different. Someone even told there parents about this kid at school that told them that grandma was trying to get out of bed and was stuck. She was so alarmed when it happened that she went straight to the principle at school and told her I was a witch and should be watched. Naturally a sensitive kid I will never forget the day the principle pulled me out of class and in my face told me to keep what I knew to myself because it scares people. She did not want it at herschool or any school for that matter.
