Bone Chilling Investigation Review

Listen to recorded EVP session from the evenings investigation with C.H.A.P.S headed by NSPIR. We returned to a very active home the evening of Saturday the 15th in the lovely small town of Creedmoor, NC. There we recorded 3 sessions of the 4 we held that evening. All of the sessions were held under the supervision of paranormal investigator George Matthis himself and took part after midnight. In the first 2 sessions you can head some knocks and even a very loud BANG! Listen up closely and you will hear the bang and jump right out of your seat. Me, I jumped out of my skin when it happened because it was right next to me and made the room shake. Hear what happened in that amazing and exciting EVP session for your self and see if you can catch the voice. HINT: it is while we are all talking before we even started the second session.

If you are a C.H.A.P.S member then do not forget to join the Yahoo Group to get all the EVP recordings and pictures from the investigaiton you can handle!

In the first hour Nicole and I will discuss the nights investigations and even tell you about a new tool I discovered that can be used during an investigation and in your own home everyday of the week if you wish. The total EVP session will last about 50 minutes so we will take calls if anyone has any questions.

Listen tonight at 11pm on Blogtalkradio.com/mindcemetery…… IF YOU DARE!

Guest: Nikki Morock From INSPIR and C.H.A.P.S

This week we reviewed the results of the Zener card and Dowsing rod experiment. We checked out the PowerPoint that Nicole put together for the meet-up on 7-14-11, color pie charts and everything. We actually saw some interesting correlations and some stats out of the charts that made a lot of sense. We talked about how to scientifically study the paranormal with a little help from the scientific method. How to counter a hardcore skeptic, if that’s even possible. We revealed my Zener card test score….. and it may surprise you. Overall it was a great night of discussion with Nikki Morock that took all kinds of twists and turns into the paranormal.

We also talked about our upcoming investigation of a haunted home here in North Carolina. George and Nikki have allowed Nicole and I to join them as they investigate a home where there has been activity in the past. The Mind Cemetery will be updating you all on what we plan on doing. So far it’s looking like a never before done approach to investigating the paranormal. This is NOT going to be a typical TV sensationalized investigation to say the least. Check out our blog for more details and check out how we are going to involve YOU the loyal listener in our investigation. Check out this weeks episode and be the first kid on your block to know how you can be involved in the investigation fromt he safety and comfort of your home.

Angel, Ghost, Or Electricity: Nicole’s “Ghost” Story

I am a skeptic.  I make a conscious decision to be a skeptic because I rather not believe the boogey man is about to pounce.  I am scared of what could be so I live in a world where only I know what IS can jump on me.

The closest thing I have ever experienced to a paranormal happening occurred when I was about 8 years old.  I was at my grandmother’s house, which has been in her family for many years.  The house was built in the late 1800s.

She kept the soda down in the basement refrigerator.  I was deemed with the task of going down into the basement to get some more soda.  The basement is what you might imagine a root cellar to be like.  It has stone walls and a rough stone floor with thin, 70′s style orange carpet.  There is a long hallway to your back as you descend the creaky stairs that have too much space between the steps.  At the end of the hallway, there is a coal furnace, toolbench, and exit to the outside.  You have to duck to walk down the hallway.  The only light shines from a lonely 60 watt bulb hanging from a chair.  I creep down the stairs in my school uniform, including big knee socks with no shoes.  Instead of going down the hallway, I enter the main area of the basement, which holds two refrigerators, a washer and dryer, and an ominous-looking door to what has been dubbed as, “The Pot Room.”  (The origins of this name are a story for another day.)

I shamble over to the refrigerator, trying to glare down the hallway with its shadows that the lone lightbulb will never reach while also trying to stare at the creepy door (I have never laid eyes on what that door hides…).  My breathing quickens, I always think as soon as I turn to the refrigerator that door will creak open.  I take a deep breath.  There’s no such thing as monsters.

I step in front of the refrigerator and relish the way the carpet feels through my socks.  It’s cold and very wet.  Like all old cellars, this one takes on moisture.  I reach out towards the fridge handle.  The second my fingers grasp the handle, I feel arms wrap around my stomach. The lonely bulb blinks out.  In that second, I lose my air and I think, “It’s finally happened, the door has opened and the boogeyman has come to get me.”  I get tugged backwards so violently that the steel handle of the fridge rips off with me.  I am thrown into the washing machine, still gripping that cold handle with baby-poop-green plastic piping.  It remains unbroken, the large bolts holding it to the fridge have snapped.

A few seconds pass and I am still breathing, hurting, my waist hurts where I was grabbed.  I crawl on hands and knees up the stairs through the dark, too shaken to even look down the dark, dark hall.

I had been electrocuted.  The water I was standing in catalyzed a short circuit in the fridge.  Why I felt those arms, I don’t know.  My grandmother says it was my angel, keeping me from being electrocuted to death.  That’s not the only paranormal occurrence in that house, but it’s the only one that happened to me.

Podcast for 3-28-11 is an EPIC episode w/ special guest Paul Kimball

A huge thank you to Mr. Paul Kimball for joining The Mind Cemetery this week! He took a chance joining us and being our first guest and I think it worked out well for everyone, a good time was had by all. Paul spoke to us about his film and TV work which includes but not limited to:

Stanton T. Friedman is real
Best Evidence: Top 10 cases for UFO’s
Fields of Fear
Eternal Kiss
Ghost Cases
The Classical Now

Paul is fast becoming a hot commodity in the paranormal and UFO world. He has been a regular guest on a lot of other shows much more established, notice I didn’t say better ;) Paul shared with us his personal accounts of the cases he highlighted in Ghost Cases, and what cases he thought were really interesting in the Best Evidence documentary. Paul delved into The Condon report and its obvious contradictions and its haphazard attempt to shut the door on UFO investigations by the U.S. government. Nicole and I learned a new dirty word, UFOLOGY! Paul noted how sticking ology on the end of a word doesn’t actually make it a science but it may actually give it a place at your local fair’s midway, think P.T. Barnum. There were nuggets and tidbits galore this episode, our first caller! and some information about Paul’s investigations and work you may not of heard before so be sure to check out the podcast on our site here, iTunes or at Blogtalkradio .

As always check out  redstarfilmtv.com  where you can keep a finger on the pulse of what Paul is working on next.
