A funny thing happened on the way to getting DNA peer reviewed that may or may not have come from a Bigfoot.

See what had happened was over the past year on various websites and blogs people and they will be named, have been posting various passive aggressive and overt slights if you will at Melba Ketchum. Melba is a Dr. of  veterinary science and also a leading expert in animal DNA. She has years of experience and has thrown her hat into the circus ring that is Bigfoot research and Cryptozoology as a whole.  That’s where the fun begins, see she is the new kid on the block and the old guard and established various hunters of all things that don’t exist are worried. They don’t want to see all there work go up in smoke by some Jane come lately with her DNA research.

The one particular individual that I can see that is posting as much as possible about her in an attempt to drive traffic to various sites and get attention are the folks at Cryptomundo. All of this is of course under the guise of getting information out to the community, classic and noble no doubt. That’s a live one right there. Let me roll out my beef with those the site and individual the involved as simply as possible and with links to the work as proof to back my opinion.

Trek the world of cryptozoology with Loren Coleman

Great, altruistic and sounds ideal. But, then a dark cloud arises on the Crytomundo site that has nothing to do with crypto news at all and it is a link from Loren Coleman about the Aurora Shooting. This here is the genesis if you will at my eyebrow raising about Mr Coleman. At the time it was asked what the hell does that shooting have to do with crypto-anything? NOTHING! It does have a handy link to his blog where he does make posts exploiting shootings or human disasters and as always a book you can buy where he talks about such human nature. He is a social worker and anthropologist by trade and education so it would be in his expertise.
