Holding  a brown manila envelope our long time favorite TV talk show  host and DNA expert, Maury Povich, stands ready to tell our long time dead suspect some disturbing news.

Special Agent with the FBI Fred Gutt has been the latest in a long line of investigators to look into the D.B. Cooper case. He has taken countless DNA samples from “suspects” and worked tirelessly to find the most famous skyjacker of the 20th century. The DNA samples weren’t all that he has collected in the recent years. The daughter of the suspect, named L.D. Cooper, has turned over many times to help the FBI to find out if her father was the one and only D.B. Cooper. Alas all the hard work of the crack Agents a the FBI may have gone for naught yet again.

“D.B. Cooper” was the man that in 1971 skyjacked a Northwest Orient flight over Oregon. His demands were simple: 4 parachutes and $200,000 or he will blow up the plane. The beauty of the plane is its simplicity of course. Once he got the cash and the parachutes he promptly exited stage right never to be heard from again.

Maury holds open the envelope, leans into Marla Cooper and Special Agent Gutt, “Marla and agent Gutt” he says. D.L. Cooper is ….. NOT D.B. Cooper.

Keep at it boys someday you will find the man immortalized by Kid Rock. I personally hope the badass is still alive somewhere.
