Archive: CHAPS review and Paranormal News

In this months CHAPS meet-up there was an open mic night. Nicole and I shared a few paranormal experiences of our own. In the process of that conversation we had a full on belief structure showdown.  Finally, we get Nicole to admit she is not even a skeptic really, by classic definition. What we have here is a full blown denialist.  In the truest form of the word: Existential.

This episode the chat room was alive and kicking for sure, a lot of great questions given to your hosts this episode.  Thank You. Thanks to Trice and Stefanie for joining us tonight as well. We finally discussed on the air our Tweetfest with none other than Matt Moneymaker himself of the BFRO. take a listen and see what all the hoopla was about from Matt and why he didn’t like our interpretation of the Michigan tracker snubbing. Oh wait! That’s what all the hoopla was about, we called it a snubbing.  Over is over and on to the next one I guess because your two favorite ”paranormal idiots” sorted it out real nice and simple. If you ever have a chance to go Bigfoot Hunting then they are the people to see, one of the biggest organizations that help people hone the skills to find Bigfoot in there neck of the woods.

We talked about the new picture of what looks like a Monolith on Mars that was released. RC Hoaggie is just tickled that this was release because you know of course this is proof that cat people are living on Mars as remnants of an ancient mars civilization that once…. oh FUCK ME you get the point! :)

We talked about the Russian Plasma UFO that had people baffled in St. Petersburg. Needless to say the local authorities are no commenting on the video of an orb in the skies.

lastly, we even got to slip in a UFONUT.com comment or two. first we mentioned that Openminds.tv released a new video of Chuck talking about why he was forced to resign from the Sheriff’s Dept. as a volunteer. All over a cattle mutilation and how to charge an animal with cruelty to an animal all to close/ cover-up a case. earlier in the episode I referenced him in an answer on how to go about new techniques for investigating paranormal activity.

DNA results are in for the Pangboche Yeti Finger

Lend me your finger and I’ll tell you a story……

 

The very same finger that was discovered way back in 1959 during an exploration to Nepal with Americans Tom Slick and actor Jimmy Stewart has been DNA tested over in England.  The finger was on display at London’s Royal College of Surgeons after being donated to them by the late Dr, William Charles Osman Hill. William was a consultant to the Tom Slick expeditions to Nepal and other parts of the world in search of the infamous Yeti.

Matt Hill a reported for the UK’s Daily Mail can be credited with finding the finger several months ago. He was the driving force to have the finger’s DNA tested here recently.  Yesterday on BBC 4 radio the “Yeti finger” was discussed and the data was disclosed for the first time in over 50 years.

What was discovered is that the Pangboche Yeti finger is not a Yeti finger at all. What was found in the DNA testing was HUMAN DNA. Dr. Rob Ogden of the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland did the testing and analysis and was the on to come to the conclusion that the finger is from Human remains and not of the long sought after Yeti.

The Year in Review!

The Year in Review

It’s time to put a nail in the coffin for the Final live show of the year for us here at The Mind Cemetery.  Tonight Nicole and I will review the highlights and lowlights of the past year. This was the first year of the show, though not an official calender year its the end of the year period.  This week its all on the table for discussion: Conspiracy theory’s with the new Senate bill that is looking to get passed, UFO community news, what the future holds for the Mind Cemetery, Sierra Kill DNA news update and of course a discussion about a classic horror story that has withstood the test of time!

I have had a BLAST! with the show and cant wait to get into 2012 with all guns blazing! Whats in store for the future of Mind Cemetery? Who knows but we will look into the crystal ball and let you in on our hopes and dreams for the coming year as related to the show!

The Goat-Man

We have all heard of the Stink Apes, Bigfoot, Lizard man and now we have a new crypto-beast to worry about. Well at least he or it is new to me. Now we have the Goat Man of Lake Worth Texas. While filtering through the internet this week I found a story written by Nick Redfern on his blog  titled aptly: “there’s something in the woods…” In the blog I discovered that there is a Goat man who loves the bridge you see pictured above. So much so that he is said to haunt it every day. Nick went on to discuss the local lore of the beat and even his own encounter while investigating it with the local law enforcement. The lore goes that its one of 2 things that keep this goat man coming around. The first bit of lore dabbles in the dark arts of the local fans of Satan and a ritual gone bad. Come to think of it when it comes to black rituals when do they ever go right when a beast comes through a dark portal and never goes away? The second theory si that it is the disembodied ghost of a local psycho that ran amuck in town on his family, was caught and hung from the bridge itself. In the process of being hung, his head pop’s off. Well his spirit comes back to the bridge and surrounding area soon after and runs into a unsuspecting goat. The spirit then rips the head off of the goat and claims it for his very own. POOF! instant head for one spirit that’s missing his old one. Either way you want to believe it even good old Jim Marrs himself has reported on it way back in the day when he was a beat writer.

Minisode: Archive from 10-15-11

Sorry about this weeks CHAPS replay. I messed up and hit the wrong button and of course I missed recording the entire nights presentation that Deonna Kelli Sayed had for all of us. It was a great presentation about the influence of media and the paranormal. She spoke about the first interactions that media has had with paranormal stories. She also spoke about how paranormal activity in general was handled throughout history and used to either make money or further the religious causes of various religions and leaders through history. There was especially a focus on how the whole topic related to early American history, with a timeline of the best of their times researchers and even a few classic American haunting stories.

That being said I did get a chance to get a book signed by her and even talked about having her on our show in December. So, my folly is your winfall! She said she would be more than happy to come on and speak with the audience here at the Mind Cemetery and we can even do another book giveaway to one fo her fans.

We made due and pushed on with episode in light of the major faux paus by yours truly the sometimes hilariously inept host. What did we discuss? Well we talked about the Russian Yeti, Deonna as the editor of Ghostvillage.com, read the 10-5-11 blog she posted to give the audience a taste of what her site is all about, MUFON recent cases, and of course we touched on the Occupy movement.

I did go into detail about the 99%/Occupy movement and what I experienced when i joined up with them on meet-up. I discussed what I felt was the driving force behind the movement and what it was all about. I was a little put off at first but I did not let my experience through posts get to me, after all I am sharp lounged and have little to no political correctness to me. I do endorse the 99%/Occupy movement and hope we can drive out special interests intrenched in our government at every level. Join up if you feel the same way and by all means support your local Occupy/99% movement.

Are we there Yeti?

I think we are!

At least that is what you would be saying if you were a Russian investigator hot on the trail of one of the most mystical beasts to roam the Earth. The Russian scientists are claiming to have ‘Indisputable Proof’ of the Yeti’s existence in the mountains of Siberia. What proof you may ask? Well not a lot as it turns out but that never got in the way of making fantastic claims of wonderful discoveries before. They found a few strands of grey hairs and footprints in a cave. These researchers were apart of a Yeti Conference so to speak being help in Russia. They found the hairs in a pile of moss in a cave near the Kemerovo region in western Siberia. A local representative for the Kemerovo Region released this statement:

 ”During the expedition to the Azasskaya cave, conference participants gathered indisputable proof that the Shoria mountains are inhabited by the ‘Snow Man.’ They found his footprints, his supposed bed, and various markers with which the yeti uses to denote his territory.”

 One must ask the simple questions of where are the photos? Did you video any of your findings? What other physical evidence can you bring back showing that this cave is one where the Yeti has ben using to live in?

If there is a Yeti in the area then the researchers will be hot to trot on capturing the animal as soon as possible to be able to collect a substantial reward for anyone who would be able to provide the first living specimen (or dead for that matter) of this fantastic cryptological beast. As you can imagine this indisputable discovery is one in a long line of discovers being claimed these days when it comes to Bigfoot and his Asian cousin the Yeti. Most of the other researchers are remaining skeptical and cautiously optimistic about the discovery and as any good researcher they should be holding off any opinion and official response till the samples can be studied and analyzed.

One of the most famous investigators is Russian boxer Nikolai Valuyev. Now that’s the exact person I want going into a Yeti nest with me, a real life Ivan Drago. If that Yeti shows up knock him out Niki! Matt Moneymaker eat your heart out!

Archive: Chuck Zukowski

This Monday’s show is in the can and it was a great conversation with the UFOnut himself, Chuck Zukoski. You can get ahold of Chuck at his website UFOnut.com if you have any sightings to report, cattle mutilations that need to be investigated or even get in touch with him for tips on how to conduct an investigation yourself. Just mention that you heard him on the Mind Cemetery and watch the red carpet roll out! :)

One of the best parts of doing this sho is jut talking with people about their experiances and what they do when it comes to investigations. I love the free form conversation that takes us to places that are not covered on other shows. Sure we talked cattle mutilation and even got in some bigfoot talk, but the best things you will hear are the opinions of the guest and host as we meander through our journey into the strange and unknown. On top of it all Chuck is good people with sound techniques, willing to press the boundaries and take investigations to the next level. He is not an investigator that is going to sit and let a few TV shows tell him how thins should be done. Because, after all we all know that most of the TV shows are built to entertain and not really be there to inform and educate. Especially when you have people on the shows that have little to no background in the field of paranormal and ufology let alone a real interest in finding facts and truth. You know how those tricky things like facts and truth can get in the way of a ratings.  ;)

The Archive of the Minisode and Recap

BRILLIANT!

I decided that our Minisode archive official pic will be simple…. a cardboard box. As in it’s all wrapped up and ready to be listened too. This weeks was a nice conversation between Nicole and I which included a surprise UFO sighting reported to MUFON on the popular alien tracker that was as recent as Thursday night right before the show. Dont forget that we hit a Nicol favorite this episode… ZOMBIES! That’s right AMC‘s hit show The Walking Dead will return on October 16th, don’t miss it, as it  will premier with a 90 minute episode full of guts and gore.We hit a lot of targets on Thursday night as we always do we just loaded the Minisode shotgun and sprayed topics and ideas all over the place. From Bigfoot to UFO’s and even a nice conversation about the TLC show Livin’ for the Apocalypse and their way of showing the everyday prepper as a total nutjob. There was one out of all the people on the show that looked to be making the most sense and that’s the famous Survival Doc. bearded and full of useful information he has his own website and plenty of YouTube videos that you can listen to and wat to your little hearts content.

Yes….. we even talked about comet Elenin and its possibilities… mainly the possibility that total whack jobs are hijacking your ears with tales of wildness and woe.

Minisode Tonight!

Tonight we will talk about our upcoming show and book giveaway with Nigel Kerner’s new book “Grey Aliens and the Harvesting of Souls” on Monday, paranormal news, a little cryptozoology news then getting into the meat of the show. The Apocalypse and what form it may come in (Comet Elenin maybe?)  and what can you do to prepare for it. We recently saw a show on TLC called “Livin’ for the Apocalypse” and it really sparked out interest in it again. Well at least our interest int he people it featured and the approaches they took to surviving. Some good, some bad and some just plain hilarious.
