Happy New Year!

Wow… seems a bit anti-climactic after a massive picture like the one above dosen’t it? Whats left to say this year other than it has been a wild ride here at The Mind Cemetery. We launched our own Podcast, started a website, Facebook page, Twitter account, I even broke through and started blogging. Now, blogging may not seem like a big deal to so many that frequent the site I will admit but, If you only knew how much just a year ago that I despised the idea of a blog. I even went as far as to attempt to phase the word out of my vocabulary all together by simply calling them: internet articles. Somehow internet article dosen’t roll right off the tongue like blog does. But what a difference a year makes… well a year and alot of arguing with Nicole where in the end I come to the conclusion that its pointless to fight the wave but much easier to just bend my mind around thoughts and ideas that have become internet staples. In short be like the Willow and not the Oak, the Oak breaks when the Willow bends.

Now, that being said there are a few things I will not bend too, as our fans and followers have found out I’m not a fan of bullshit. Big surprise right? And to my discovery neither are YOU! Which is great because the Paranormal and Ufology community as a whole is besieged at all sides by bullshit.  We here have come at a crossroads of sorts in the shows evolution. We started this as wide eyed, wet behind the ears, rookies thinking that this was all just great conversation for the listener to decide. What we found out is that we cannot let nonsense infect the mainstream of investigatory work that so many out there in the field work so hard and get so little recognition from. It is the Bullshit that holds the Paranormal and Ufology investigators  at bay by the “legitimate” scientific world.

So, what are YOU (or US for that matter) going to do about it?

What we always have done my friends, fans, followers and listeners: FIGHT!

This year on the Mind Cemetery we will fight to bring you the most respected, ethical, hard working, honest and open individuals possible as guests to the show. We will fight to keep the sanitary light of truth and integrity and academic honesty shining on the cockroaches that attempt to multiply the bullshit.  I know Bullshit is a strong word for some of our friends, fans, followers and listeners. I apologize for the use of it and as you have learned in our evolution I have a sharp tongue that has been slowly but surely getting better. In 2012 a line in the sand has been drawn, a fight for your sanity is underway. WE do not want your sanity, simply your ear and an open mind.

An open mind… that brings me to the last part of this blog. What does Mind Cemetery mean anyway? What does it mean to you? For you the friend, fan, follower and listener the meaning of the word may mean many different things to you, which is fine. To me it means not letting your mind get rotted by so much hype, misinformation and one track thinking that it ends up killing it in the long run. So many speak of a new conciseness and an awakening by the human race that is taking place. Be the awakening, think for yourselves. If you do not want to keep your mind sharp and your wits about you then it will die and you may as well buy a plot of land at your favorite cemetery and bury it. Our goal here is simple, bring the information that matters from the people that matter to us to you in an entertaining manner and keep your Mind out of the Cemetery.
