CHAPS Wrap-up and Paranormal News

This week we will b having a special gust on with us to discuss what went on during the latest CHAPS meet-up in Raleigh. As you know we are partnered with Carolina Hauntings, Apparitions and Poltergeist Society here in Raleigh, NC. They allow us to come in on investigations and if your a long time listener to the show you got to hear the actual recordings of the meet-up itself. These days we don’t record the meet-ups anymore but we do bring the information home to you. This week will be the first week we have a representative from the meet-up joining us.  Kerry Mote, author and paranormal researcher/experiencer will join us to talk about the topic of how mental disorders and psychological issues come into play when talking about the paranormal. She will also cover her own work in the paranormal field along with a pre-investigation interview that will open the door further as to what is going on during a suspected or prospective paranormal investigation. It’s all about separating the wheat from the chafe.

Kerry will be on for the first hour so be sure to catch us Live at 9pm eastern.

The second hour will be our usual paranormal news segment where Nicole and I will hit on the latest topics and controversies in the paranormal, ufo and crypto world. And no doubt have a few head butts along the way.

This weeks episode archive is up and running on the UFO Paranormal Radio Network website for all to listen too.  If you have never had the chance to hear Norio speak then this is a great time to jump in the mix. In this episode we went in deep with Norio about something I have not heard him talk about before. It seems like an odd thing to discuss with a UFO researcher but the topic of life after death and past lives came up and we had a nice conversation about the nature of life and death and how death is not necessarily the end of it all.  Norio had some great insight considering his occupation as a funeral director in Los Angeles.

The great conversation didn’t stop there. We managed to talk about Area 51, underground bases, the illegal activity at Area 51, Dulce, New Mexico, Archuletta Mesa, and his upcoming caravan to the Mesa and a little know sight of very significant importance that was the location for the Gasbuggy Project.  Norio told us about when he got started as a young man interested in the field of Alien research and UFO hunting for over 50 years.

Tonight we will be having a very special guest, a man that is a legend in the UFO field of research and investigation, Norio Hayakawa.  Norio has been a Ufologist for years and investigated some of the most interesting cases to ever come to the public’s attention. He has been an expert on the Roswell Incident and my favorite story of all time that comes out of Dulce, New Mexico.

I know everyone is familiar with Roswell but the Dulce story is the on that has everything you could ever want UFO and Alien related.

In this months CHAPS meet-up there was an open mic night. Nicole and I shared a few paranormal experiences of our own. In the process of that conversation we had a full on belief structure showdown.  Finally, we get Nicole to admit she is not even a skeptic really, by classic definition. What we have here is a full blown denialist.  In the truest form of the word: Existential.

This episode the chat room was alive and kicking for sure, a lot of great questions given to your hosts this episode.  Thank You. Thanks to Trice and Stefanie for joining us tonight as well. They are hosts for 2 of the best shows on the UFO Paranormal Radio Network , A Global Focus Friday’s at 11pm eastern and Second Sight NYC .

We finally discussed on the air our Tweetfest with none other than Matt Moneymaker himself of the BFRO. take a listen and see what all the hoopla was about from Matt and why he didn’t like our interpretation of the Michigan tracker snubbing. Oh wait! That’s what all the hoopla was about, we called it a snubbing.  Over is over and on to the next one I guess because your two favorite ”paranormal idiots” sorted it out real nice and simple. If you ever have a chance to go Bigfoot Hunting then they are the people to see, one of the biggest organizations that help people hone the skills to find Bigfoot in there neck of the woods.

We talked about the new picture of what looks like a Monolith on Mars that was released. RC Hoaggie is just tickled that this was release because you know of course this is proof that cat people are living on Mars as remnants of an ancient mars civilization that once…. oh FUCK ME you get the point! :)

We talked about the Russian Plasma UFO that had people baffled in St. Petersburg. Needless to say the local authorities are no commenting on the video of an orb in the skies.

lastly, we even got to slip in a UFONUT.com comment or two. first we mentioned that Openminds.tv released a new video of Chuck talking about why he was forced to resign from the Sheriff’s Dept. as a volunteer. All over a cattle mutilation and how to charge an animal with cruelty to an animal all to close/ cover-up a case. earlier in the episode I referenced him in an answer on how to go about new techniques for investigating paranormal activity.

Well, welcome to LIVE radio. Sometimes you have to improvise and get on with the show. Luckily we are experts in that department… it’s all we do anyway. The first 45 minutes is delightful conversation with Nicole about some cool 3D models she found online.  The topic of a Billion Light year across Black Hole coming into contact with Earth. There was the futility of prepping in a black hole scenario, or any other where you have to stay underground for over 12 months to live.

If I missed a topic it’s because my mind was blown today.

Then we got on with the real show! Thomas Streicher called in just in time to save our sorry butts. We only got about 10-15 minutes in till we went to break for 10 minutes. After the break we jumped in with both feet discussing the causes and effects of Alien Contact on the Human consciousness. In his new Book: Extra-Planetary Experiences: Alien – Human Contact and the Expansion of Consciousness. Did, you know he interviews Ingo Swann, Edgar Mitchell and they are just 2 of 7 big names in this book. Tom discussed his charity work that also takes up a large portion of his time and he works very hard at, check out his list on his homepage its impressive, like make you wonder what you do with your time impressed. Nicole jumped in with her fantastic skeptical analysis which amounted to “I don’t Believe? We will work on the skeptical analysis for the future episodes.

Joe joined us for 2 and I think approx. 12 extra minutes so you got a little more bang for your buck this week. That is if you actually had to pay for this stuff. We hit on all the hot topics: Hypnosis, ICAR research, the Blood Type Study, abductions, voice stress analysis, facial recognition software, possible conference on the horizon in Atlanta, and what new shows may be coming to the network in the near future.  Great conversation with a great guy and researcher that is well known in the field and around the world.

Who is Joe Montaldo anyway?  Well first off he is the man that gave us our shot on the UFO Paranormal Radio Network so he’s got that going for him.

Joe Montaldo is Co-Founder, International Director, and Spokesperson for I.C.A.R. (www.icar1.com)
Originally affiliated with MUFON as an Investigator, Mr. Montaldo became disenchanted with the lack of information being shared with the general public.
His first step in furthering public awareness was establishing a personal website in 1998.

Mr. Montaldo has been featured in newspaper articles, radio talk shows and speaks at area meetings as well as hosting his Wednesday night talk show.

“My future goal is to gain information for I.C.A.R. and share it with the Public. The public needs to understand what is going on with Alien Contact, and exactly what the Alien Agenda is.” -Joe Montaldo

On 3-26-12 we were joined by our special guest Matthew Alper, Author of  The God Part of the Brain: A Scientific Interpretation of Human Spirituality and God.  If hat sounds like a mouthful think again, it’s a brain full. We talkd about the way other species on the planet are genetically predisposed to take on certain traits or even behaviors. For example, the ability for Bees to build a honey comb in a certain pattern or even a cats ability to groom themselves.  No transfer that logic to the Human animal and how our brains were designed bast off of our DNA strands. Why does every culture on the planet no matter where it springs up always look to explain the unexplained? Now, thats the “God” part of the brain coming into formation and turning our thoughts to the spiritual world or even the afterlife in general. Are people that believe in the afterlife or “God” simply going through life living on hope? Does the belief in an afterlife really come down to a coping mechanism for humans to use to help them get through hard times in there lives? As for this Host lets just say that I sure hope its not a exercise in futility. Because if there truly is nothing beyond this life then I would much rather go through it thinking that there is a chance at an afterlife because if there is no hope for one then what is the point of life? Is it as precious as we think it is or is it just as common as sand on a beach?

Ignorance is truly bliss, that is proven day after day and to think that millions and millions of people would curl up in a ball if faced with the futility of there own mortality and the finalization that death brings wouldn’t be as great a world to be apart of  or even part of a species of mammal that is nothing more than the first one to wear pants.

Mind…… BLOWN!

The second hour of our show you got to hear Nicole and I talk about the season finale of everyone’s Zombie favorite: The Walking Dead. We ignored, for lack of a better word, the season finale the previous episode in the paranormal news segment so we hit all the ins and outs of the episode and even the season in general. We do have some spoilers but hey the reality of it is that if you do your homework on the show and the Comic series then none of what we talked about is a surprise. My best advise for a Zombie Apocalypse is to get a chainsaw and go to work! I mean gas isn’t an issue so go crazy, thin the herd and keep moving sure it makes noise but when your surrounded who cares!

Enjoy the chatter in the second hour and try and wrap your head around The God Part of the Brain.
