The Last Live Show Ever!

Year In Review 2012

Tonight we have our second year in review show as we call it quits for 2012. This year brought in a lot of changes for the Mind Cemetery and for us personally. We will cover our best and worst of the year, our favorite guests and our least favorite ones.  For the most part we try to keep our disappointments and displeasure with guests private but in the spirit of Festivus we will air our grievances tonight.

This God awful picture comes to us courtesy of the San Antonio chapter of MUFON if anyone was wondering. I went out and tried to find a really shitty and tacky picture: Mission Accomplished!

Open Lines all night, special guest Psychic/Medium Chris George will pop in for an hour or so to shoot the breeze and take callers questions.

We will also talk about how to survive 12-21-12 with a special segment called Nicole eats an MRE and loads a shotgun for the first time.

CHAPS Wrap-up, Paranormal News and Open Lines

This week we will talk about this months CHAPS meet-up here in beautiful Raleigh North Carolina letting you all know what you missed out on with speakers Eric Singleton and Shawn Litton from Paranormal Revolution. Think along the lines of provoking spirits during paranormal investigations, who does it and why its a bad idea. This weeks archive blog is finally up and running for all to enjoy. This past Monday we had author, environmentalist, engineer and activist Mat Stein on to discuss his 2 books: When Disaster Strikes and When Technology Fails. They are 2 great books for anyone interested in beginning prepping for the worst and hoping for the best. He keeps it simple and easy for the reader to follow the logic behind what you would need to help yourself, your community and your family in almost any disaster situation.

The conversation started off with everyone’s  nightmare situation, a nuclear power plant meltdown and the Fukashima disaster. How the government there is covering up the actual damage that this disaster is causing with the potential for 30 million people needing to be evacuated but for some reason they are not proceeding with the process of saving millions. This disaster is by far more dangerous that Chernobyl and nothing drastic is being done to contain or protect the local residents.

Nicole stepped in and discussed her ideas on how even the biggest techies can stay relevant in a disaster situation. Needless to say it will work short term but once the batteries run out, Nicole is screwed. The back-up plan is simple but will take up alot of space :)

Mat is really one of those peopl that is more interesting than you could ever imagine and he took us down many thought provoking roads of discussion. This is one of the best guests you could have on because he not only deals in disaster prep but is one of those true renaissance men that have been around the block a few times and lived to tell his story of overcoming injury, helping others and the planet all while defying death more than once and loving it!

Who is Matt Stein? Well, first off he actually went to MIT unlike one more infamous character in the paranormal filed to remain nameless. He is an author of 2 fantastic books that we will be discussing tonight: When Disaster Strikes and When Technology Fails. Think along the lines of a preper minus the doomsday where the world ends as we know it.

Matthew Stein is an environmentalist, bestselling author, MIT trained engineer, and green builder. As an inspiring speaker and visionary thinker, he is dedicated to helping people wake up and unite to shift our collective course from collapse to global renaissance. On the practical side of things, as an expert at self-reliance, emergency prep, and survival, his writings and work help people prepare to weather the storms we are facing due to continuing climate change and ecological decline, coupled with a fossil fuel based economy that has recently passed the peak in world oil production and is struggling to cope with impending near-term shortfalls. Stein is a graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) where he majored in Mechanical Engineering.

Paranormal news and the Carolina Hauntings, Apparitions and Poltergeist Society Show

We introduce to our fans the Carolina Hauntings Apparitions and Poltergeist Society here in beautiful Raleigh, North Carolina AKA CHAPS. Who are they? What do they do? How do they do it?

This week we talk all the latest and greates paranormal and UFO news form the past month. We talk Cryptozoology stories, Ghosts, Wierd news and even our favorite UFO tales from the far reaches of the Earth.

We also open up a can of act right to the people of a few o our favoite websites and Facebook pages… can’t wait for that fun conversation with Nicole.

Nicole and I will talk Tom Fusco. Why? Well the longer I think about it the more I feel that he is on the right path to understanding and explaining pretty much a majority of Paranormal and UFO related events. The nut sand bolts that is or as he would describe it the weapon or tool used to make it all happen.

Am I right or an I wrong? Who knows but I’m sure Nicole will tell me one way or another.

We had a great time speaking with Tim about his new invention The Crovel, the Doomsday Preppers episode he did and about survival as a whole.  This was a heavy Nicole episode, as Tim helped me turn Nicole towards being more accepting into being a prepper. Now that term itself was even discussed on the show, I was wondering if he feels the term itself is a slight against people that are preparing for any disaster that could come in the future.

We talked about the birth of The Crovel which itself was interesting. As with most inventions it was born of necessity. The need for a implement to toss in your pack for camping or bugging out. either way this tool will leave you with all you need in the event of a disaster. That’s the name of the game being ready for a disaster.

Tim did a great job talking about one of the most important things to bring with you to during a disaster: Knowledge. Bring it with you in paper form if you must but read up on multiple skill sets that can be used and make yourself more useful int he event of a disaster. Most people don’t have time to read of course but Nicole came up with a great way to keep herself relevant int he event of the internet crashing and never coming back. The Year in Review!

The Year in Review

It’s time to put a nail in the coffin for the Final live show of the year for us here at The Mind Cemetery.  Tonight Nicole and I will review the highlights and lowlights of the past year. This was the first year of the show, though not an official calender year its the end of the year period.  This week its all on the table for discussion: Conspiracy theory’s with the new Senate bill that is looking to get passed, UFO community news, what the future holds for the Mind Cemetery, Sierra Kill DNA news update and of course a discussion about a classic horror story that has withstood the test of time!

I have had a BLAST! with the show and cant wait to get into 2012 with all guns blazing! Whats in store for the future of Mind Cemetery? Who knows but we will look into the crystal ball and let you in on our hopes and dreams for the coming year as related to the show!

Water on Jupiter’s Moon

That’s right folks even more proof of the potential for life on another planet/moon in our solar system. The moon is Europa and the picture above shows what scientists at the U of Texas Austin think is ice that covers a large liquid H2O ocean. Well, maybe not an ocean but as it goes for bodies of water not on Earth this would qualify as one. The water body is said to be about the side of the Great Lakes in North America. The article goes on to talk about how the ice on the surface may have formed and what would cause the researchers at the U. of Texas Austin to believe there to be the only thing in the known universe that is a sure bet to finding life: water.
