Guest: Bridget Nielsen 2.0

This time the Archive will be working :)

Bridget is a fantastic guest and will be back on to join us for a second show on what may be the shortest turn around for any guest we have had. She will be talking all about alien hybrids, what a starseed is, her work and what she has been up to lately as well as cover a lot more territory as we delve deeper into her alien contact.

Bridget Nielsen has a lot of gifts, whether it be in the art of healing, writing, or  counseling, she makes a concerted effort to share her gifts with the world.  She specializes in her work with children, having worked with blue-chip brands like Disney and Warner Brothers to create programs for children.  Her healer training is backed by years of experience and schooling.   Her book, The Secret to Finding Passion in Your Career, was well-received with a 5-star rating on Amazon. Bridget also contributes to The Huffington Post.

Bridget also pioneered the knowledge-development-area of Hybrid Children.  From her site, HybridChildrenCommunity.com

The hybrid children are a genetic blend of human and extraterrestrial (Zeta Reticuli/Grey) DNA. At the moment, the children reside in a different dimension, but they will begin arriving on Earth in the relatively near future.

They’re excited about coming. And we, the parents, can’t wait for their arrival. Everyone involved in the hybridization program, whether he or she remembers here in physical reality, made a soul agreement before coming into this lifetime to take part in the agenda to awaken humankind to our infinite expressions and reunite us with our galactic family.

Dennis Rano Ufology’s #1 cartoonist makes a caricature of Chip

A Dennis Rano Drawing

We were elated to see that Dennis Rano took it upon himself to do a caricature of Chip!  Dennis is well-known in the ufology community for his unique artistic style and creative sense of humor.  He has made caricatures of the ufology greats like Richard Dolan and Chase Kloetzke.  You can check out more of his caricatures here.  (Secretly, I’m just elated I didn’t get a caricature ;)  Though I did get a mention on his page!)

[Conspiracy Op-ed] Monetarily fueling the gay-bashing fire: Health insurance companies

I don’t blog a lot for the show, mostly because I am a bad wife and a bad co-host, I look at blogs for a living and I want to stay away from it when I get home.  But I feel pretty passionately about this issue and Chip and I have been discussing it at great lengths.

So as you may or may not be aware, North Carolina voted in favor of an amendment to ban gay sex marriage.  Chip and I happen to think that there must be some great funding fueling the gay marriage fire… as, to be honest with you, we don’t get how this could be a pertinent political issue.  Two people want to get married… who the hell cares?  Aren’t we at war and operating at a massive deficit right now?  This made us pose the question, who could possibly financially benefit from a ban on gay marriage?  The propaganda on this campaign is outlandish and there has been a lot of hype, mutating the issue into a religious one, when in actuality, religion should not be associated with it whatsoever (you know, that whole separation of church and state thing).  Religious beliefs should have no impact on a gay man’s ability to be covered under his husband’s civil partner’s lover’s work health insurance policy.

Ah… there we have it.

The insurance industry stands to benefit from a ban on gay marriage.  By ensuring that gay marriage is not recognized, an insurance company is not obligated to cover the gay partner, unless the company pays a higher premium to recognize the union (which some companies graciously do).

This is the only theory that makes sense to me.  What else could possibly keep the political ball rolling on banning gay marriage, which seems to me the most victimless, harmless thing in America?  We actually voted on this… people left their La-Z-Boys and fried pepperoni sticks to stand AGAINST people in love uniting.  Why would we even have a vote on this?  I mean, our next poll will be on, “Should we allow kids to eat popcorn?”  To make matters worse, the bigoted gay-bashers call marriage this religious rite.  While it is a significant part of religion, what if two people get married in Vegas? Or in front of a justice of the peace?  Are they LESS married?

Come on folks, Jeebus doesn’t give a shit if two people in love publicly declare their devotion to each other.  Stop padding the insurance companies’ wallets. Don’t we give them enough with our $200 band-aids and $150,000 surgeries?

Cellphones Don’t Cause Cancer

For the record, the Wallstreet Journal reported that cellphones don’t cause cancer. It was based on a study of a 1,000 folks over two decades of research. AND the results were published So, you can’t use cancer as your silly excuse for having that obnoxious BlueTooth. What now?

I am oversimplifying the issue, I know.  The majority of you conspiracy nuts aren’t reading your data on sites like Oxford Journals, because those are run by fascist pigs, yada-yada.  The truth is even the title of this blog is a bit sensationalized.  If you dig deep down into the data, the reports are still inconclusive for the HEAVIEST of users… it is my opinion, however, that if you’re on your cell phone for more than 8 hours per day talking it up, you have bigger issues than cancer.

Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter or Super Slut – Either Way, I’m Okay With It

I am currently about three quarters of the way through the twelfth book in the Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter series.  That’s right, 12.  So far, there are 20 full length books (with the last one –  Hit List – just being released on June 7)  in the series and I am dreading coming to the end.  It seems that the current book I am on, Incubus Dreams, took a turn for the slutty.  Anita can’t sneeze without slipping and falling onto someone’s penis.  But, that’s what it is… the modern day iteration of trashy romance novels.  Take all those crappy, raunchy paperbacks that your grandma used to read with exotic guys named Esteban, add vampires, werewolves, and violence and you got yourselkf an Anita Blake series.

In any case, these are my Guilty Pleasures (which, conveniently, is a name of one of the earlier books in the series).

Anita Blake’s universe presents with an alternate reality in which the mass population is very well aware of the existence of vampires, werewolves, and other things that go bump in the night.  The government commissions specialtists to kill these big bad beasties when they break the law.  Anita Blake is one of these specialtists and she is so damn good at killing vampires, she is called The Executioner.  She also has the ability to raise the dead as zombies.  They can then be questioned by loved ones are lend insight into mysteries that otherwise would have went to the grave with them.  This is also a commonly known process that is marketed in the way that a private detective may be marketed in the real world.

The Vampire Hunter/Animator also lends her expertise to the police to help solve paranormal-related crimes.  All is well in Anita’s odd life until she begins to fall in love with the monsters and develop some extra powers of her own.  After being bound with the Master Vampire of the City and the “Ulfrich” (read: Werewolf King) in a special power trio they call the triumverate (which always make me think of the triforce), Anita discovers she is more like the monsters than she is like the humans.  She discovers a bloodlust from the werewolf and a plan old lust called the adeur from the vampire.  Sexy results ensue.  She started the series as a prude, barely beyond her virginity, and currently where I am in the series she is banging six different guys per day.  In her defense, they are all insanely hot.  And have fangs or inhuman strength.

I found out while writing this post that Marvel is putting out Anita Blake Graphic Novels based on the books.  Hot.

Start with Book 1 like I did and get hooked to the blood, sex, and vampires :)

Podcast from 6.6.2011: Skeptic Bobby Nelson Talks About Harold Camping, Psychics, General Skepticism and Believers

We had an AWESOME time with Bobby Nelson last time… well, I did!  Chip’s world got rocked up a little bit.  I <3 Skeptic month!  In honor of skeptical month, pay homage to skeptical hippo  :)

Anyway, Bobby is what I would consider to be a good guy skeptic.  After last night’s discussion, I admire him almost as much as admire Penn after his skepticism letter.  It was a fun show.  Listen in below!

Bobby’s biggest complaint about the paranormal community is when people bastardize science into fitting their needs.  He co-hosts Strange Frequencies Radio, which airs on Sundays from 3-6PM EST.  He also has an awesome blog called Pork Rhine and he is the founder and contributor of Bent Spoon Magazine which is smart, insightful, and amazing.  Check out Bent Spoon if you have a minute… it really appeals to believers and non-believers alike.

Zeta Reticula Alien Video from Roswell UFO Crash: Debunked

So there’s been this video published by AllNewsWeb.  The story behind it goes that the source, of course acting anonymously, leaked it onto Youtube.  It allegedly shows footage from government archives (a collection of clips) and implies that there is much more where this came from!

I have never seen such crap in my life.

The creator slapped some typewriter-like font onto a video, applied an old time movie effect like this one (with decreased brightness).

Why would the video contain “a sample edited fragments of video tape 05?”  Why not establish some context for the video?  Some background… something more than looking up and down at an alien?

I am also a bit reluctant on the wording.  The exact text of the entire video goes like this:

Filtrate for declassification and dissemination through the Internet and media.  7 video tapes with material recorded between 1942-1969.  Material containing UFO incidents, recovery and study of extraterrestrial life forms.

Due to the importance of these documents, maintain the anonymity of the sources.

The video contains a sample edited fragments of video tape 05.
Tape duration:  180 min.
Total recorded duration:  1.260 min.

Tape 05 edited fragments:
Case 25/skinny Bob 00:08:42 – 00:08:50
Case 25/skinny Bob 00:27:36 – 00:27:45
Case 26/How to drive 00:55:07 – 00:55:12

So this implies that the “publisher” added the text later.  In the first clip, our weird little alien turns his head back and forth.  In the second, he’s standing still, and blinks a couple times.  In the third, I can’t really discern what that is but I guess it is supposed to be a UFO.  The clips look so comical to me… they appear like caricatures.

But, I am not a video expert.

Digging further into the video, I found it to be originally posted by Judy Fältskog on Youtube, who has posted two other similar videos.  Wait a second… is this the same Judy Fältskog who’s “alter ego” is James van Greunen?  Wait a second… is this the same Judy/James who is a CGI expert?  This might even be the same Judy that got caught up in a Alien signal scam in May of 2010.  To make it even worse, Judy/James is buddies with professional fake Wayne Herschel.  Or maybe they’re all the same person… who the hell knows.  Wayne/James/Judy/Satan is a scam artist that pushes his tripe junk on gullible people.

Too many weird source coincidences in the video source.

But the CGI is what gets to me.  PresidentUFO.com really hooked it up with 3 video break downs from different video experts.  Again, video is not by thing, so I have to defer to the experts here, but he got Leanne Jones (Producer with the British Youth Film Academy), Dave Hughes (BSc Digital Film and 3D Animation), and Richard Allan (Post Production Instructor at Staffordshire University) who all agreed that the video is fake, fake, fake.  The elements they thought REALLY made it fake were:

  • Projector sounds.  They are out of place because the video has the appearances of “footage transferred to video” but the projector sound doesn’t match with this format switch.
  • The model and movement is too clear, smooth, and polished for the alleged age of the video.
  • The alien isn’t moving his body.
  • Any editing software can recreate the effects once the model is created.
  • The text has a drop shadow and smells a little bit like Final Cut Pro default font.
  • The text isn’t military in its voice.  It sounds like “film hype.

Oh, and my last little point… how on God’s Green Earth was this identified as a Zeta Reticula???

So shady CGI work, a ruined source, and crappy dissemination have made this little buzz live and die in the period of a month.  This is the core of the problem with this paranormal community… to many fakes looking to make a name for themselves make skeptics out of people that WANT to believe.

Here’s the video.  Do what you want with it:
