Who is Erick Stitt you ask?

“I didn’t become or choose to be a Paranormal Philosopher overnight. I just slowly morphed and evolved into that over the years as I began to educate myself in a plethora of interests. Interests that molded and melded into a cohesive perspective that catalyzes and generates my perception of my own co-created reality. The interests of greatest influence are several factions of Psychology such as basic (Jungian/Freudian), Transverse and then ultimately graduating to Integral Psychology.

I am a very avid fan of Ken Wilber’s work as well as Clare Graves (Spiral Dynamics). I’ve even been found to be nosing around in Andrew Cohen’s stomping grounds at EnlighteNext. The evolution of Consciousness is fascinating to me.

Next throw in a background of philosophy and religious studies, none of them formal or institutionalized, as well as my own interest and upbringing in the Paranormal as an Experiencer and voila! There you have it. The makings of a Paranormal Philosopher.

The Psychoterrestrial Theory is my attempt at a Unified Theory of Consciousness using the Paranormal as a foothold if you will. I could have used the mechanics of toasters or any some such subject to illustrate my theory but the Paranormal fit well as it allowed me to show how archetypes work. It may or may not fly. It is again, my own unique perspective and perception but at the same time I think some of those perceptions and angles of perspective are universally shared across the entire spectrum of human consciousness. Very primal. Very archaic. Very archetypal. There’s my Jungian influence.

So what I hope to accomplish is nothing less than showing others that there may be yet another way to look upon and experience phenomena as not only the Witness but possibly as the Source as well. I have no illusions that I may be right nor do I wish to even put a ceiling of any kind on my work. I am a true philosopher. I quote the fictional character Vroomfondel from Douglas Adams’ “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” :

We’re Philosophers! We demand rigidly defined lines of doubt and uncertainty!

That about sums it up for me right there. To me, the whole of reality as we know it because we know it is fully and wholly malleable and manifest by thought. Ghosts, Woollybuggers, Saucers and all.

You are not what you think but the Observer of the thought…”
